More than a store, The Collective is a community that gives back. To do this, we’re grateful for our volunteers who are willing to share their time and experience for the benefit of others.

If you can commit a few hours (or more), either in our boutique Birkenhead store, or from home using your skills, we’d love to hear from you!

As well as our in-store volunteers, some of the skills we call on include furniture repair and refurbishment, sewing, driving (for furniture collection), as well as professionals who can support the day-to-day running of our store. Whether it’s a coat of paint, fixing a cushion or sewing some quick mends - every contribution can make a difference!

While our enterprise exists to support others, our volunteers find that they’re also the ones who benefit! You’ll connect with others in your community while putting your skills to use in a way that can create impact in the lives of many.
